Unfortunately after open heart surgery, they turned me away and told me to go drive myself to FDL St. Agnes where I had the surgery. I was in Berlin's ER for my heart due to my heart rate going over 200 BPM. I lived in Berlin at the time and was told by FDL to get to the closest ER. My surgeon in fondy was very unhappy I had to drive myself an HR to get to him. I was told that the ambulance in Berlin wasn't for people like me to get to fondy with. About 15 min's after getting to fondy I had a heart attack. And Berlin charged my insurance for a level 4 visit. Not cool guy's, so not okay.
I am giving the wonderful nursing staff on the ob floor 5 stars. I recently was discharged and can't stress how wonderful ALL the nurses were. You made me feel comfortable along with the entire crew that came for support nothing but welcomed to be there. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful experience you gave myself and my family. I leave feeling amazing. Thank you to Dr. Budde as well and his crew for allowing me to follow threw on my birth plan. Would recommend anyone to experience what I experienced with this great group. Thank you again guys.
I went there because I was having pains in my back and they insisted that it was a “muscle strain” but the pain kept occurring so I went to Oshkosh and they informed me that it was a kidney infection. Not to mention I was throwing up because of it and the nurse wouldn’t even let me rinse my mouth with water.
An AMAZING experience! 100% Recommend it!
As a new patient ofthe Berlin Hospital and Dr Monico ,,, who by the way in my book is GREAT... along with his nurse Kathy They take very good care of me and make sure all my needs are met and explained. So Dr Monico spotted I had a sleep study done and asked me about it. He then set up for me to see Dr. Eric Newton who is at the sleep clinic. I had stated the U.W sleep had put me on a CPAP unit years ago. It failed me and I could never get it to stop leaking and after months of asking for help from them I gave up trying He listened and explained and after seeing my sleep study told me not to worry they would help. He assured me we could get this done. He put me in a room with Tami who tried many mask on the find one that worked for me. The staff was fun and friendly and everyone made me feel comfortable. Finally two Dr. and their staff explaining and taking the time to help you.
